Welcome to the Sponsor Section!

If your products or services are designed to appeal to affluent, fashion-forward art lovers who like to have fun, then you just can’t do much better than capturing the attention of the 300,000 affluent, fashion-forward art lovers who will spend a week and millions of dollars (at all price points) roaming the streets of Miami’s Art Basel Week December 1 – December 4, 2011.

But Art Base is SO BIG!
How can I possibly hope to stand-out and engage thousands
of my prospective customers, clients, etc.?

That’s exactly what we were thinking while roaming the streets of Art Basel LAST year!

Art Basel is just too big and with too many different locations for most companies to place enough traditional advertisements everywhere. Plus, especially in this environment, most advertisements are likely to be “lost” amongst the sea of visual stimulation.

Instead, we thought, if we create a happy and fun spectacle, we will bring the right people directly to us. If Mohammed cannot go to the mountain, sometimes creative people can find a way to bring the mountain to Mohammed.

You could spend hundreds of thousands of dollars engaging Art Basel Attendees in the “traditional” manner, and still get lost in all the “noise”.

The Solution

  • Quantity and repetition creates interest.
  • Quantity and repetition, combined with cute creates more interest.
  • Quantity and repetition, combined with cute and engaging, creates the most interest. And lots of media-attention too!

The solution is to create a mobile art exhibit featuring Aleloop’s art. The display will be based upon ten (10) thematically-related MINI Cooper automobiles each “wrapped” with Aleoop’s art and featuring a few relevant logos, tastefully but still prominently-visible from every angle.

The cars will be driven by attractive, fun and engaging people who will further the spectacle and foster a carnival-like atmosphere at each installation. Each installation will be “layered” with the cars, the people, the art, and interactive activities designed to create a fully-interactive “pied piper” effect so that we collect hundreds of names from qualified prospects wherever the installation goes, and then hundreds of fans are sure to follow.

To our knowledge, nothing like this has ever been done before. This makes it remarkable. As in, tens-of-thousands of people asking the same question all weekend-long “Did you see those Minis?” And your product/service/company could be right in the middle of those conversations!

The route for the installation will be pre-defined with scheduled stops at important locations. Each stop will be designed to engage the audience for purposes of collecting names and contact information of prospective collectors and buyers of your products and services. Each stop will promote the next stop.

Schedules, free samples, etc. will be handed-out and admirers of the art and the cars, will be engaged by our team and yours to encourage appropriate “next steps” in your preferred buying cycle.

A documentary videographer and photographer will travel with the mobile exhibit to create plenty of high-quality footage for you to use in your online, print and direct-mail advertising.

And a Music, Dance & Performance Festival featuring all 10 Art MINI Coopers and all 40 performers participating is a good opportunity to reach the Art Basel attendees.

Exciting News:
The Aleloop Mobile Art Installation on 10 MINI Coopers for Art Basel is expanding, even more!

On Saturday December 3, 2011 we’re going to be hosting a music, dance & performing arts festival.  “The Aleloopapalooza”.  6pm-midnight.   This will take place on a 3 acre fenced-lot at the NW corner of NW 2nd Ave & NW 22nd Lane.  This is the lot where the food trucks normally congregate.  There will be about 35 food trucks there too.

The event will have a big professional stage with control booth, big screens, etc.  We will run an “American Idol” style contest with master of ceremonies, text-based voting and 20 confirmed acts.  The acts are bands, singers, dance crews, a magician, jugglers, and even a comedian.

On a ‘regular’ night the food trucks normally attract about 5,000 attendees.  Between Art Basel, the 35+ food trucks and our 50+ performers promoting “The Aleloopapalooza” we’re expecting that number to be more like 10,000 attendees.  Probably a lot more.

We’re looking for sponsors who want their product/service to be associated with the biggest music festival that will be taking place during Art Basel.  The festivals that happen on the sand on South Beach, by comparison typically attract a couple thousand people.

What sponsors can get:

1.      Signage

2.      On-stage recognition

3.      Massive List Building / Lead Generation for you.

4. Give-aways to winners (like American Idol winners get a free car from Ford)

5.      We’re going to have things happening where we invite people from the crowd to get on stage for impromptu performances to win prizes (from sponsors)

6.      The whole event will be recorded by a professional film crew and live-cast onto a website channel so sponsors can promote that  channel to their lists and they’ll get clips & footage, photos etc. for use in their own marketing.

7.      We’re open to more ideas that sponsors have that can benefit them that we haven’t thought of.

What we’re looking for: Money to pay for the stage rental, insurance, etc.  Total we’re looking for and additional $15,000.  To do this, we’ll take one main Music Festival sponsor or a few co-sponsors. There are no minimums, any amount will help.
