During Art Basel 2011, between Thursday, December 1st & Sunday, December 4th, Aleloop will present a Mobile Art Installation with ten thematically matching Art MINI Cooper automobiles featuring Happy Art that makes people smile.

The caravan of 10 Art MINI Coopers wrapped with Aleloop’s hip, happy & playful art will be travelling through the four Miami & Miami Beach neighborhoods where all the Art Basel action is taking place. The 10 Art MINI Cooper caravan will make scheduled stops along the main spots where art lovers will be gathering.

There will be four performers per MINI Cooper that will be taking turns to drive. At each stop all 40 performers will pop out of the cars creating a multisensory Flash Mob around the MINIs.

Aleloop wrapped her own MINI Cooper S for the Mobile Art Installation and put out a call to fellow MINI owners to obtain the remaining MINIs needed to complete her vision. She received an overwhelming response from MINI owners wanting to stylize their own MINIs with Aleloop art. There are A LOT of art loving MINI owners, exceeding the number of MINIs needed!!

ABOUT ALELOOP aka Alejandra Leibovich

Award winning artist Aleloop, former Sr Art Director of Vh1, Nickelodeon & LOGO Latin America. Originally from Argentina, Aleloop loves the Grove life surrounded by Peacocks, wild giant Iguanas, weird stuff, cats, minidog and imaginary creatures. Aleloop work with clients including MTV, Nicktoons, iTunes, XBOX, 7up, Dr Pepper, Cartoon Network, Ironman, etc etc

After a lifetime of creating purely digitally, Aleloop successfully entered the world of fine arts.

Exhibiting immediately after starting painting in acrylics a whimsical world of quirky creatures that she doodles all the time and creates stories for each of them. Aleloop has exhibited her art at Comic Con San Diego, MOCA, G40 Art Summit, Art Whino, Art Link International, Pop Santa Fe, Lunar Boy Gallery, Multiversal & many many more.

  • On Friday Dec 2nd from 4-8PM, Art Whino is hosting a reception at 426 NW 26st in Wynwood, and
  • the Aleloop’a Palooza a Music, Dance and Performance Festival featuring the 10 Art MINIs of the Mobile Art Installation and all the flash mob Aleloop perfomers on Saturday Dec 3rd from 6PM – 12AM at the Foodtrucks Lot in Wynwood, NW 2nd Ave & 23Ct.
